French edition

Aila Events operates in English out of Toronto, and that is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. A complete French edition is available as an option: every page, every form and every confirmation email, written in Quebec French rather than translated line by line.

Nous en parler

Six photographs follow one wedding day in order, from first light and the waiting gown to the last dance.

Toronto

The day you actually wanted.

Every celebration we take on is planned in full: the design, the suppliers, the schedule, and the hundred small decisions that only surface on the day itself. You should be a guest at your own event.

Three ways we work.

  • Cream roses and hydrangea spilling onto a sunlit stone aisle scattered with petals.

    Weddings

Full planning and design for a day that reads as yours, from first site visit to the last song.

  • A long dinner table laid with linen, tapers and dried flowers beside a tall window.

    Private celebrations

Milestones, anniversaries and dinners at home, held to the same standard as the largest wedding.

  • Draped cocktail tables in a double-height hall with light falling through arched windows.

    Corporate

Launches, galas and client evenings, produced so your team can attend their own event.

Unhurried, and particular about the things that show.

We take a small number of events each year so that yours is not one of many.

Start a conversation

Four conversations, and then a day.

  1. First conversation

An hour, no charge, and no slide deck. You describe the day as it exists in your head. We tell you honestly whether we are the right people to build it.

  2. The direction

A written plan: the rooms, the palette, the shape of the day, and the budget it genuinely needs rather than the one that sounds comfortable. Nothing is booked until you have approved it.

  3. Sourcing

We bring florists, caterers, musicians and rentals. You meet a shortlist we would use ourselves, not a directory.

  4. The day

We run it. You should not know what time it is, and nobody should be asking you a question.

The best compliment we get is that nothing seemed to have been organised at all.

The ones we are asked first.

How far ahead should we book?

Most couples reach us nine to fourteen months before the date. We take a limited number of weddings each year, so the date matters more than the notice does.

Do you work outside Toronto?

Yes. Prince Edward County, Muskoka and Niagara regularly, and further when the day calls for it. Travel is quoted separately and plainly.

Do you take on partial planning?

Sometimes. If you have made most of the decisions and want someone to hold the final two months and the day itself, say so in your enquiry and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth your money.

What does it cost?

It depends on scale and season, so we quote after the first conversation rather than before it. If your budget and your brief do not meet, we will say so early, while you still have time to do something about it.

Can we see more of your work?

Yes. Ask in your enquiry and we will send a fuller portfolio, including events we have not published.

From recent events.

Tell us about your day.

Tell us as much or as little as you know. A date and a rough shape of the day is plenty to start with.

Or write to us directly at hello@ailaevents.com.

Would you rather just talk? Book a session, thirty minutes, no obligation.

If you have not settled on one, leave it blank.

What are we planning? Optional

We use these details only to reply to you.
